VAR Capital was featured in Citywire about its two recent hires. Former Barclays Wealth private bankers Omair Sattar and Tom Graham have joined the firm as partner and head of credit solutions respectively.

Sattar moves from his role as a private banker director at Julius Baer, responsible for resident non-domiciled clients.
He previously worked alongside VAR Gupta and Vasudeva at Barclays’ ultra-high net worth division.
Graham was most recently a consultant at Opens Financial Partners, having formerly worked for 11 years as a relationship manager at Barclays Wealth and Royal Bank of Canada.
In his new role, he will specialise in providing bespoke and structured credit solutions for ultra-high net worth clients.
Gupta said both hires are key to ‘furthering the firm’s key objectives in an ever-expanding market for boutique asset managers’.
