VAR Capital was ranked among the FT 1000 seventh annual ranking of Europe’s fastest-growing companies. Compiled by research company Statista, the ranking is based on the highest compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue at European companies between 2018 and 2021. VAR Capital had a CAGR of 160.8 percent across the period, significantly higher than the 36.2 percent minimum to make the list.During a period marked by a global pandemic and the restrictions it imposed on business, rising geopolitical tensions in Europe and fears of an economic recession, this recognition is a reflection of VAR Capital’s sustained organic growth. A focused client-centric philosophy, strategic investment portfolio and strong industry and business partnerships have driven VAR Capital’s growth and inclusion in this list.To be included in the list of Europe’s fastest growing companies, a company had to meet the following criteria:– Revenue of at least €100,000 generated in 2018– Revenue of at least €1.5mn generated in 2021– The company is independent (the company is not a subsidiary or branch office of any kind)
– The revenue growth between 2018 and 2021 was primarily organic (ie “internally” stimulated)– If a company is listed on a stock exchange, its share price has not fallen 75 per cent or more since 2021The Financial Times is one of the world’s leading business publications, and a course of unbiased and accurate journalism.
